HMB Music - Howard Boder

Howard is a classically trained pianist. He comes from a musical family. He started playing the piano aged 3 and hasn't stopped since. He is passionate about music. Although Howard started in classical music going through the usual grades to grade 8. he plays in a variety of styles.  His first teacher was Mrs Ivy Nash who was a wonderful teacher  based in Chingford where Howard grew up. After her retirement, for his last few grades, he was taught by his Aunt Alice, (a pianist, violinist and composer herself), he has played in many bands over the years in a variety of genres.

In classical music he has a love of music through the ages but particularly admiring Bach, Debussy and Satie who are favourites.

He is the keyboard player of a leading Genesis tribute band called "The Book of Genesis" which began in 2006 and has played in the UK and abroad.

He has played at a number of select private parties and weddings

Howard has written a large number of compositions over the years. He began writing music at about the age of 12 and continues to write. He has written some ambient music to enhance some mindfulness videos and wrote the music to a computer adventure game some years ago.
